A touch of whimsy is the key element in my designs.  "Expect the unexpected" is my motto in color and style.  I have worked in New York City's garment center as a fashion designer for many years. 

My work has been featured in Women's Wear Daily, and I have been a regular contributor to Family Circle and Woman's Day magazines for my crochet accessories.  My pocket teddy bear sweater was once a staple item at Henri Bendel.  I have sold berets, cloches and sweaters at Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys and Bloomingdales as well as various specialty boutiques in New York City.  I have also been a design director for major hosiery manufacturers, and still work part time on seasonal hosiery pattern design.

I reside with my husband, Tom, in Manhattan, and spend summers in Old Forge at our camp on Third Lake.
