I joined The Artworks in 2009 and serve double duty as
webmaster for The Artworks web site.
I retired from Lockheed Martin in Syracuse, NY in 2002
after spending over 30 years working with sonar combat systems as a field
engineer and US Navy sonar technician.
Prior to my retirement, I started my clubmaking career in the fall of 1997 by attending the Golfsmith® Basic
Clubmaking & Repair school followed by their Advanced Practical Clubfitting
school. I subsequently attended the Ralph Maltby Advanced Club Repair
school in 2001 and the Dynacraft Advanced Fitting school in 2002, and I hold
multiple certifications in both clubmaking and clubfitting. My workshop is
located in Ilion, NY.
My contribution to The
Artworks consists of handcrafted, American
made, mallet style putters. These elegant putters are fully
functional golf clubs that make a perfect gift for any golfer. Each
putter comes completely assembled to a standard 35” playing length with custom lengths available at no extra charge. Optional practice stands carved from solid Cherry
are also available (golf balls not included).
In addition to the custom putters, I also offer club
repairs (reshafting, regripping), alterations (loft, lie, length),
professional fittings for golfers of all abilities, and a full line of
custom clubs (drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters).
